My wish for My children.......

this is my wish for my children.. and some day my grandchildren... may they live long, fruitfull, happy lives.

"My Wish"

I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,And each road leads you where you want to go,And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.And if one door opens to another door closed,I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,But more than anything, more than anything,My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,You never need to carry more than you can hold,And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,Yeah, this, is my wish.I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,All the ones who love you, in the place you left,I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,And you help somebody every chance you get,Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,And you always give more than you take. But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,You never need to carry more than you can hold,And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,Yeah, this, is my wish.My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,You never need to carry more than you can hold,And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,Yeah, this, is my wish. This is my wishI hope you know somebody loves youMay all your dreams stay big

life is good!

Amid all the people complaining about the economy, gas prices and money crunches, which yes do suck... I decided to post a uplifting blog for once. Yes, the money crunch has hit us, as well as the gas prices... but I am thankful for so so much.
I am thankful that Darold and I both have jobs- one of us or both of us could be out of work completley- so I am thankful we both have secure jobs. I am so thankful for each of my kiddos- each coming into this world under different circumstances and each with their different personalities.
Life is good... I have one boy potty trained, another on his way, a girl who thinks I am her best friend in the entire world and swears nothing will ever change it, getting ready to go into first grade and take on the world. 2 boys who still think its the coolest thing ever to hug and kiss their mommy like there is no tomorrow and a patrick who starts preschool in a month. and so blessed that our little preemie is here at all to start preschool!
thankful that wy is growing like the sprout he is and on his way to being my class clown, thankful that I know Jadyn is going to change the world someday.
money is not great, but we are blessed in so many other way- we have food on the table we have love inour home and in our family... what more could you ask for?

why does it seem they are growing so fast?

It just seems like the kids are growing up so fast. Jadyn is 6.5 going on 21 I swear. she gets bigger and more grown up every day and it seems like every day I turn around the boys are doing more and more and getting bigger a nd bigger every day. I know that it will seem like no time and they will be graduating highschool, college, getting married and having grandkids. it makes me sad to think of it. I so enjoy this age. I am trying my hardest to enjoy every darn minute of it and not take it for granted beccause I know it will be gone all too soon.
I will post some pics of the kids tomorrow I -promise!!!!

countdown....

to vacation......!!!!!! I can't wait. it doesn't seem like much of a vaction since the first day is on the road. we leave Wed. night and are on the road for about 20 hrs. straight through.... have I mentioned that this is with 2 girls who are 6 and 7..... 2 boys who are 2 and 3 one of whom gets extremley car sick and 3 adults... thats right 7 passengers in a 7 passenger mini van. its 1063 miles, and it "supposed" to take 17 hrs.... well with 4 kids you know it will take Much much MUCH longer than 17 hrs. last year it was 23 hrs.Of course you may be told we will have an 8th passenger- as Jadyn insists that "piggy" our esteemed guinea pig will be traveling with us.... ummmm NOT!
This summer has flown by so fast, its hard to beleive- Jadyn and Patrick have both been in Vacation Bible School this week and to top that off we have been using our pool passes- today patrick really had a complete meltdown i think this week has been alot for him, he isn't used to going to school or in this case camp and then do other stuff, so tomorrow we will spending the day vegging.. and my sister dear is coming down!!!
the kids go back to school in just over a month. J enters the 1st grade on the 26th of August and Patrick starts pre-school on Sept 1. my babies are getting so so big! I can't beleive it!!!
well thats about all on this end for today I need to get better at blogging to keep my family up dated!

its been a hectic week...

and I am beat! We have only been to the pool twice this week but we stayed the entire time they were open, and the kids came home beat! we all have had our share of sun and are tan! it has been fun but I sure am ready for my trip to Wisconsin on the 17th! its Darold and I and the kids and my sister and niece{who is coming next week to spend a few days with us!! can't wait!} we love going.. its a long drive {22 hrs} but well worth it. and my niece Emilie is getting named this year. next summer Jadyn and I will have a combined naming ceremony. i am so excited to be teaching my kids part of their heritage and having them growing up being able to go out and dance inthe powow! jadyn will dance grand entry again this year and if their outfits are done so will the boys.it will be FANTASTIC! other than that we don't have any real summer plans. we want to do the national zoo in the fall and we really want to take the kids to the aquariaum and the crayola crayon factory- as well as a few places around here. the kids are having a blast this summer!
