withdrawals
however, jadyn did remark to her dad when he showed me the boys pants... daddy come look at my closet.... i have enough clothes for the next 3million years.
lord help me....
shower time...........
Anyway I get home and I get donuts on my way home, I don't always do this but at least one time a weekend when I am working I do so I have my handy dandy discount card from J's school, seriously the best card I have ever bought { on this card one of the offers is buy 1/2 dozen donuts at DD, get 1/2 dozen free... dude... a DOZEN Dunkin Donuts for 4.99 who can resist?}
It never fails EVERY time I call home on my way home- wyatt the 2 yr old gets on the phone and says "hi mommy, you have donuts....?" and donuts is always pronoucned dooonnnuuuts? like its a delicacy- just the word needs to be savored. Most mornings I say "no baby I don't have donuts" to which he replies "ok mommy, daddy mommy no has donuts for me"
so on the rare saturdays that I do bring donuts home {it has been every other Sat- but now I am working the next 6 weekends straight so I am assuming this will be the next 6 Sat conversations}
"Wy- mommy is on her way home"
"Hi mommy- you have donnnuuuuuttttttttsss?"
"yes Wy I am bringing donuts home."
SCREEEEEEEEECCCCHHH
"Daddy my mommy my mommy...... breath breath breah.... my MOMMYS HAS DONUTS FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE' and the phone drops. on the floor. literally.
Darold then picks up the phone and says " I hear you are bringing donuts". I get home they are waiting, drooling, grabbing the donuts before i get htem to the counter. you would swear i dont feed them. Wy my ever clown, takes his donuts , looks at it and falls to the floor pretending to pass out. Nice wyatt... nice.
Fast forward to upstairs. I immediatly go upstairs and turn ont he shower... toHOT, like burn my skin like a lobster hot, because thats the way I like my showers, and because as you who are nurses know... it doesn't matter how hard or easy your night goes you always SMELL like hospital. I could have no vomit, no poopies, no codes nothing and I would still Smell like hospital. so I always strip down and shower as soon as I get home. So i get in my scalding, skin ripping, lobster turning shower and douse my hair, am reveling in the ALONENESS of the shower because truley as the mom of 3 rascals under the age of 7 this is IT. this is as good as it gets! Soon i hear "knock knock .... mommy what u doing? "
me: nothing Wyatt mommy is taking a shower
Wyatt: mommy I help you? I get in?
Me: no wy this is mommys shower..
pitter pitter pitter
Patrick: BAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Mommy you are NAKED {as he points and laughs at mea t the top of his lungs }
cue- running...... Daddy daddy daddy my mommy is naked.. come see..... and all I can hear is Darold laughing in the bedroom.
Wyatt: mommy please i come in with you?
me: NO!
Jadyn: mommy mommy mommy patrick/.wyatt/daddy {just inserta name... whoever has irritated her at the time } is looking at me/breathing wrong/picking one me {insert annoying activity here}
me: ok Jadyn just walk away
cue stomping feet... BUT MOMMy
{cue circus music.}
me: DUDE Darold I need 5 minutses to myself......
wyatt: mommy plllleaseeeeeeeeee
me: fine. get in. seriously. t his is ridiculous. do you have to get in? seriously.
wyatt: {stripping down} yup yup yup
So i turn the water down to tepid.. really the worst way to take a shower
Wy gets in...
wy: mommy whasss that? wheres your ernie ? {poiinting at my vajay jay} whats that?
mommy boobie boobie
ME: ok d get me a towel I am done. literally.
sigh.......... shower time...

dear Mcdonalds
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping me get fat...... no seriously I GET that it is my own darn fault, for eating your deliously greasy food, that its my own damn fault that I can't stay way. but Why oh Why does it have to taste so good?
I know the minute I eat it I am going to RUN... literally run.. I am not kidding folks- every time I eat it I go running for the bathroom and tell my dear husband, "DONT EVER LET ME EAT THIS CRAP AGAIN"
to which he laughs and says.. "ok yeah right. so the next time you ask me to go get you a #1 with a sweet tea I should just say no? ummm ok Chrissi I value my life."
Seriously its bad. I can 't even go t hrough the drive through with the pretense of JUST getting a sweet tea. I have to then get either a big mac or a double cheeseburger and who can resist the fries?
I have a serious love /hate relationship with Mcdonalds. maybe if i tell myself I am allergic to Big Macs I will be able to stay away?
Jadyn's first day of school.
Ok so I am a few days late....... Its been a hectic week. Jadyn started first grade this week...sniff...sniff.......sniiiiiffffff. Its sad for me, bittersweet really- I remember every bit of my pregnancy with her, my preterm labor, the bedrest and literally every second of my labor and birth with her. all 23 hrs and 42 minutes of it. its odd really, because I don't remember alot about the boy's labor but for some reason hers sticks with me. Kindergarten was still sad, but she was still my kindergarten baby, still a little girl. First grade marks a rite of passage almost. she is no longer my baby girl... she is growingup, my little fashionista, diva, social butterfly, little leaguer all rolled into one.
She got glasses over the summer, just for reading, board work ect. at first she was excited than embarressed. refused to wear them, came up with every exscuse in the book.
ME: Jadyn we need to wear our glasses, they are really cool, I let you pick them out- why won't you wear them?
J: noone will recognize me, they will say hey whose the new girl. my friends wont love me blah blah blah the list goes on and on and on...litererally.
So we get to school at the same time as her 2 bff's. they were all like hey we are in first grade. for about 3 SECONDS. once they went into the gym they were all huddled up together crying please don't make us stay please let us go home and play- J took off her glasses and threw them at me and backed herself into a corner " I am NOT staying she said", I am coming home with you RIGHT NOW. ..... first of all let me say "DUDE" "you are staying right here...... you are GOING to school!!!!! so us mom's of the three girls sneak out while they are still sniffling and look back in and they are ok. the first day goes ok.... we hear about the school and how cute this boy is ect ect ect. I get the agenda book home on friday and the communication log says "jadyn had a great first week, but needs to remmeber not to talk during instruction time"..really? J a talker? seriously? I never would have guessed
so here are some pics ofhre and the boys and our nieghtbor boy Ben on her first day of
FIRST GRADE.

some things I never thought I would say
Things I never thought I would say.......
No.. you MAY not jump off the bed. counting down from 5,4,3,2,1 BLASTOFF does NOT mean you are a rocket ship.
No... your Nike shoes are NOT power boosters... I don't care WHAT you think that swoosh means, you can not fly.
No> the piggy does NOT need to eat your hot dog {the guinea pig} CERTAINLY not after you have eaten off of it, and please please please for the love of god do not take a bite AFTER you have fed said piggy a bite of your hot dog.
Wy- I promise promise promise baby- you can't fit INTO the piggy's cage, nor does he want you there.
J- I swear piggy can not sleep with you and I swear on all that is holy if I find you trying to "sneak "him into your bed again... I may lose it.
The top bunk WAS NOT p ut there for you to jump off of. I know it looks tempting.,.. please there is nothing at the bottom to break your fall.
BOYS~ there is an indoor voice... i know that you dont think there is.. really mommy wouldn't lie to you... there is. LETS TRY IT.
Yes- there is a Santa, no mommy isn't lying... yes your friend is wrong. I promise there is one. and NO he wont come if you put that darn piggy in your bed again.
wy- you have GOT to stop singing Whiskey out the bottle.. yes we know kid rock well he ROCKs... but nanny and pawpaw might not like it if you sing that song to them... and while we are at it can you stop saying dammit too?????
oh and patrick... can we stop peeing out the back door? I know when you are int he basement its tempting.. .darn it I WISH I could pee out the back door. its just not... well lets just not do it anymore shall we?
Jadyn- you are NOT getting married in first grade, nor are you having 8 kids in 2nd grade. its not going to happen sister friend! if daddy has his way it will NEVER happen. oh and NO you may not call your little "boyfriend" on the phone... STOP ASKING,
ok so I never thought I would be a mommy- never thought I wanted to be a mommy- I was just a little country party girl. never thought I would find the right guy and get married. much less have 3 kiddos....... but here i am 10 years and 3 kiddos later and saying things that honest to goodness I have to laugh at half the time. I love my life though........

I CAN'T FIND MY DAMN

tomorrow i start school....
summer lovin......
had me a blasst...... oh wait sorry thats Grease.........
Where do I start. I guess I should fill everyone in on the coming's and going's of the Fryor clan. for those of you who care and want to read...keep on rolling down .. for those of you who don't .. well isn't that what the red x at the top of the page is for? {ok so I really need to stop the sarcasm is just BEYOND out of control these days.- even Darold said dude to me the other day!}
So we have spent a huge part of the summer at the pool. I took some of our rebate money and treated the family to a family pool pass. well worth the money- of course there were day's that the boys wouldn't leave my side {unless I of course would spend the entire day in the deep end with them jumping in into my arms. and lets not of course forget when Wy decided he could just JUMP on his own while patrick was jumping in..........my little daredevil.} and Jadyn made lots of new friends, flirted with lots of lifeguards such is life. we all got very tan and had a blast!
We spent a week in Wisconsin- at the Grindstone lake- where we will probably spend a week during the summer forever. this place is where I truley feel my heart is. every time I am there I feel so at peace, there is no way to explain it. Its like i feel connceted to my anscestors. Jadyn adn the boys all had traditional regala and danced in the powow {pics on the photo gallery folks} and my neice Emilie got a traditional indian name. I will have to look at the spelling again but it is indian for butterfly. The plans are also in the works for Jadyn and I to have a naming ceremony next summer so look for details of that coming, as it will be a spiritual journey for both of us this year and we are learning more and more about our ancestors and the culture. she is really enjoying it. this year was bittersweet as it was the first year i have gone that my Aunt Betty was not there. It seemed odd without her there. she was definatley missed and thought of the entire time I was there. I even went to the old grindstone house and said a prayer and talked to her. maybe seems corny to y'all. but i felt her there.
My neice Belle has spent 2 glorious weeks with us this summer. and her and my awesome sister dear also went on vaca with us. we love having belle and she is just the cutest damn thinge ver.... yes i am biased... deal.! Although it has been decided next year on vaca hotel rooms will be set up for halfway in the trip up and the trip back lol.
Jadyn finally had to get glasses. we have been getting her eyes tested since she was 3 {started patrick this year} and we knew this day was coming- but this summer they finally said she needed just a weak prescription for reading, book work, board work ect. but that they were fairly sure that within the next year she would have to wear them for everything. she picked out purple disney p-rincess wire frames with a dangly princess and at first was all excited but now is afraid she won't be cool... ummm dude... first grade.. how "cool" can you be?
the kids have gone to 4 camps this summer. actually patrick went to 2, and jadyn went to 4. her FAVE by far was the summer day camp at Fellowship bible church in Charles town. she had a blast! it was the most organized well put together daycamp i have ever seen!
we did a few day trips this summer and had a great time. we had more planned but Darold's dad got very sick at the beginning of the summer and spent 3 weeks in Fairfax hospital on a ventilator for 8 of those days. we were very scared! however he is home, doing better and slowly heading back to work but we spent a bulk of june traveling back and forth .
we are pretty much done with the pool fo rhte season. patrick ended up back in the ER last weekend for an exacerbation of his asthma and a double ear infection with some major fluid build up. poor little guy. he knows when he needs a shot- he will bring me the sock monkey and tell me the sock monkey needs a shot. he kept telling the doc. {who used to work at loudoun with me btw so I love him!} i berry berry sick. we had a follow up visit with his primary care this week and we are headed for the allergist in 2 weeks for a round of skin testing. possible allergy shots. which I HATE teh thought of! however, if it helps his asthma I am all for it. the fall is a TERRIBLE time of the year for us!
I mourned the loss of a cousin this past summer. my step dad's cousin Barry Sones past away several weeks ago. probably one of the funniest men I have ever known. I have known him for as long as i can remember. he was a wonderful man. he was 61 yrs old and from what I hear he past away in his sleep. thats the way I want to go.
I start classes tomorrow to finally finish my RN. WHEW finally!
Jadyn starts first grade on the 26th. all decked out with new clothes. she is ready. although she is telling me that she is getting married this year...... not sure mommy is ready for that. she is getting so big i am not handling it well at all~
Patrick has learned how to ride his bike FAST in the last 2 weeks and its so cute and Wyatt has decided that EVERYONE is DA bomb!
hope all is well on y'alls end of the world! take care
Chrissi

patrick poopypants
I type this in brown...because appropriatley enough I will be speaking about poop. poop poop and more poop, or in Patrick's case the LACK there of. So we have been potty training since April. he got the pee pee part down pat right away. no problems. Has not had a pee pee accident since May or so. NOT ONE. Poopie is a different story. here is what our daily conversations consist of.
ME: Patrick where are we going to go potty today?
Patrick: in the potty.
ME: GREAT Patrick! thats my big boy. now again, where do we go poopy at?
Patrick: {sigh} IN DA POTTY.
after great lengths of picking between our sponge bob, diego , thomas or spider man underwear,,, at which point i am convinced he is just trying to decide W HO he wants to poopie on. we get underwear on. we sit on the potty every 20 minutes after breakfast , after lunch eect ect.
the MINUTE my back is turned...... I smell it... the definate smell of poopie in da pants.
ME: {sigh... sigh... AND again SIGH} Patrick did you poopy in your pants?
Patrick: No... I didn't... Wyatt did it.
Wyatt: NO I DIDNT POOPY, FAFRICK {his name for patrick} did it.
Patrick.: {but up against the wall} nooooo I didn't poopy
Me: ok p lets get changed.... {at which time I say AGAIN for hte millionth time} patrick where do we go poopie.
Patrick: ummmm in the potty.
ME: why did you poopy in your pants?
Patrick: ummmm I don't know.
ME: well sponge bob is very sad that you poopied onhim.
Patrick: Oh Sorry spongebob.
ME: why did you poopy on sponge bob?
Patrick: Because I NEED to.
DUDE... I am at my wits end! Jadyn was so easy to potty train. was done by her second bday- patrick has been a nightmare. at this point I may be in a nursing home before he is pooping in the potty! he is set to start preschool in 3 weeks and it looks like he will be starting preschool next year at age 4 because he is not ready and I am not sending him not ready and I cant keep stressing over it. its not fair to poor patrick. so alas his new name is patrick poopypants.........
mommy your da bomb!~
so today~ I am sitting here changing my myspace around and just playing music on my laptop. any of you who know me know i love kid rock.. he is like sooo HOT! as one of my girlfriends says "eyes wide open baby!"
anyway i love his new song all summer long. its an awesome freakin song. so i am sitting here redoing my myspace page and blaring it and Wy comes in and starts pumping his hands in the air and dancing around and pointing his finger and at the end of the song yells Mommy your da bomb!
i about peed myself.
I said no Wy YOU are the bomb.... he jumped up and at the top of his lungs yelled Mommy NO YOU are da bomb!
god I love my boys!!!!!

ugh......................
We didnt' do much this weekend- I was beat from working last week- so Saturday really, we just vegged. took a family trip to the grocery store- usually I do that alone when the kids are asleep but I decided we would all go, let Jadyn wear her new glasses and man the calculator to help keep me within budget. my goal was 100 for the week and we made it out in 118.06 so i was pretty darn proud of myself and Jadyn really enjoyed helping with the calculator and managing the coupons and helping mommy spot deals. the boys were just happy to be out. Darold had gone fishing on Friday so saturday was my "self appointed" family day. So after that the kids just kind of napped and Jadyn went out to play with her friends.we had Long John Silvers for dinner. which was a big treat for the kiddos and the boys loved the battered shrimp! our neighbors littlest boy was hit by a car on Saturday night {nothing major but it did require a trip to the ER }so we had the oldest overnight and the kids had a blast. they all slept in this am. today I took the kids to the pool after Darold left for work and they had such a good time that they tuckered out.the boys were sound asleep at 6 and wouldn't wake up for anything and I opted to let them sleep. Jadyn wasn't far after- and then Mommy went to bed since Mommy had to work tonight.
not much in store this week. today is going to be an at home day, catching up on cleaning, laundry and working on j's reading packet for school. I keep saying I am going to post some pics on here.. this week I promise!!!!!
